Malbec World Day or Dia Mundial del Malbec is observed every year on April 17 to commemorate the day the first agronomy school was founded in Argentina for the study of European grapes, including the Malbec grape. This took place on April 17, 1853, the same year that Argentina’s president, Domingo Faustino Sarmiento, asked a French soil expert to bring new grape varietals to his country and officially made it his mission to transform Argentina's wine industry.
The celebration lands on a Wednesday this year, but we are fully stocked for you shop! Ask our Certified Sommeliers about these amazing values, the kind of wines we love to introduce you to and what sets us apart from other wine stores. Take 10% off any 2 bottles from our collection of South American wines!
Flights consist of three 2 oz. pours of the above wines. Wines are subject to change based on availability
